HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain and Arc in Phantom

HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain and Arc are three newer EVM networks in Phantom. HyperEVM is Hyperliquid's EVM chain with HYPE for gas; Robinhood Chain, added on 23 July 2026, is an Ethereum layer 2 with ETH for gas; Arc, Circle's network added on 16 September 2026, charges fees in USDC. All three use your existing 0x address.

Last verified: 25 October 2026. These three networks are newer and more specialised than Ethereum, Base or Polygon. They share your Phantom EVM address but each has its own gas token and its own risks.

HyperEVM

Hyperliquid is best known for its perpetual futures exchange. HyperEVM is its general-purpose EVM chain, where tokens and apps run alongside the exchange. Gas is paid in HYPE (Hyperliquid docs).

Reports in November 2025 said Phantom had added HyperEVM, and Phantom mentioned HyperEVM trading in a post on 30 December 2025. We could not confirm an exact launch date. On 25 October 2026 Phantom's help centre lists HyperEVM as supported and says it uses a gas-based fee model.

Not the same as Phantom perps. Phantom's perpetual futures also run on Hyperliquid, but through a separate trading integration, not through the HyperEVM network in your wallet. Perps are not available in the US, the UK and some other places, and leverage can wipe out your margin quickly. See Phantom perps for fees and risks.

Robinhood Chain

Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum layer 2 built on Arbitrum's Orbit technology. It launched on 1 July 2026, uses ETH for gas, and is known for Stock Tokens, which give on-chain price exposure to public companies (Solana Compass, July 2026).

  • Added to Phantom: 23 July 2026. Solana Compass described Phantom as the second Solana-linked wallet to add it, after Backpack (12 July 2026).
  • What you can do: see balances, send and receive, swap and bridge, using your existing EVM address.
  • How to turn it on: update Phantom, then turn on Robinhood Chain in the list of active networks in settings (Solana Compass, 2026).
  • Fees: gas is paid in ETH on Robinhood Chain. Phantom says gasless swaps are available on supported EVM networks, including Robinhood Chain, for eligible swaps: Phantom may take the fee from another token or pay it for you. Sends are not gasless. Swaps on Robinhood Chain and cross-chain swaps may have a $2 minimum (Phantom help centre, 2026).
  • Regional limits: Stock Tokens are not available to users in the United States (Solana Compass, 2026). Phantom also restricts tokenized stocks in the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands (Phantom help centre, 2026).

Robinhood Chain uses Arbitrum technology, but Arbitrum One itself is not supported in Phantom. Do not send tokens on Arbitrum to your Phantom address expecting to see them.

Risks: a Stock Token is not a share. It usually gives price exposure without shareholder rights, and depends on the issuer and on the token's terms. Check what you are buying and whether it is legal where you live.

Arc

Arc is a layer 1 blockchain built by Circle, the company behind USDC. Its mainnet launched on 16 September 2026 and Phantom supported it from day one (Solana Compass, September 2026). Arc is EVM-compatible and charges transaction fees in USDC rather than a volatile token. Circle aims it at stablecoin payments, foreign exchange settlement and tokenized assets.

  • You use your existing 0x address on Arc.
  • To pay fees you need USDC on Arc, not USDC on Ethereum or Solana.
  • Phantom's developer docs say websites can connect to Phantom on Arc, and that Testnet Mode enables Arc Testnet.
  • Arc is very new. Expect few apps and limited liquidity at first.

Moving funds onto these networks

Phantom's cross-chain swaps can move value between networks, for example ETH on Ethereum to ETH on Robinhood Chain (Phantom help centre, 2026). You pay the 0.85% Phantom fee on most swaps, network fees and a bridge provider's fee. See bridging in Phantom and estimate costs with our swap fee calculator.

Should you use these networks?

For most Phantom users, these networks are optional. They are worth turning on if you already hold tokens there or want a specific app or asset, such as Hyperliquid ecosystem tokens, Stock Tokens where they are legal for you, or USDC payments on Arc. If you do not, you can leave them off: turning a network off only hides it, and you can turn it back on at any time.

Before moving a large amount, try a small transfer, check that you can move it back, and make sure you hold the right gas token on that network. Liquidity on young networks can be thin, so price impact on swaps may be higher than on Ethereum or Solana.

A word of caution about new networks

Phantom removed Monad and Sui in 2026, less than two years after adding them. New networks can be dropped too. Your funds stay on-chain if that happens, but keep your recovery phrase safe so you can reach them with another wallet. See what happened to Sui and Monad.

Phantom never asks for your recovery phrase and has no phone support. Network launches attract fake airdrop and "activation" sites; you never need to sign anything on a website to use a network in Phantom.

Frequently asked questions

What is HyperEVM in Phantom?

Hyperliquid's EVM chain, where you pay gas in HYPE. It is separate from Phantom's perps trading, which also uses Hyperliquid.

When did Phantom add Robinhood Chain?

On 23 July 2026. Turn it on in the active networks list in settings after updating the app.

Can I buy Stock Tokens in Phantom in the US?

No. Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain are not available to US users, and Phantom also restricts tokenized stocks in the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

What do I pay fees with on Arc?

USDC on Arc. Arc charges transaction fees in USDC instead of a volatile token.

Does Phantom support Arbitrum because it supports Robinhood Chain?

No. Robinhood Chain uses Arbitrum technology but is a separate network. Arbitrum One is unsupported in Phantom.
