Phantom supported chains and networks (October 2026)
As of 25 October 2026 Phantom supports nine networks: Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Bitcoin, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Arc and BNB Chain. In 2026 Phantom dropped Monad (26 August) and Sui (24 September) and added Robinhood Chain (23 July), Arc (16 September) and BNB Chain (1 October). Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Unichain, Linea and custom networks are not supported.
Last verified: 25 October 2026. Phantom changed its network list four times between late August and early October 2026, so many reviews you find online are already out of date. This page lists what Phantom supports today, when each network was added or removed, and what to do with networks Phantom does not support.
Networks Phantom supports today
Phantom's help centre lists nine supported networks (Phantom help centre, "Supported networks", checked 25 October 2026):
| Network | Type | Fee (gas) token | In Phantom since |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solana | Layer 1 | SOL | 2021 (Phantom started as a Solana wallet) |
| Ethereum | Layer 1, EVM | ETH | 2023 |
| Polygon | EVM | POL | 2023 |
| Bitcoin (Native SegWit and Taproot) | Layer 1 | BTC | Beta from 20 December 2023, for all users from 30 May 2024 |
| Base | Ethereum layer 2, EVM | ETH | 25 November 2024 |
| HyperEVM | Hyperliquid's EVM chain | HYPE | Late 2025 (exact date not confirmed) |
| Robinhood Chain | Ethereum layer 2, EVM | ETH | 23 July 2026 |
| Arc | Circle's layer 1, EVM | USDC | 16 September 2026 |
| BNB Chain | Layer 1, EVM | BNB | 1 October 2026 |
Your Phantom wallet has one Solana address, one EVM address (starting with 0x) that is shared by all the EVM networks above, and Bitcoin addresses. Always check that the network you send on matches the address you are sending to. Our address checker tells you which network an address belongs to.

| 1 October 2026 | BNB Chain added | Requires the latest app version. |
If you still hold Sui or Monad assets, they are safe on their own blockchains. See Phantom Sui and Monad support ended: how to reach your funds.
What Phantom does not support
Phantom's help centre names Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Unichain and Linea as unsupported, "as well as any other networks not mentioned" in its supported list (Phantom help centre, October 2026). That also covers networks such as opBNB, zkSync, Scroll, Tron, Cardano, Sui and Monad.
- No custom networks. Unlike MetaMask or Rabby, Phantom does not let you add your own network or RPC. Independent reviews list this as a limitation (Coin Bureau, 2026).
- Arbitrum. Phantom's developer FAQ says "Arbitrum is unsupported for Phantom transactions". Robinhood Chain is built with Arbitrum's technology, but it is a separate network and is supported; Arbitrum One itself is not.
- Testnets. Phantom has a Testnet Mode for developers (Phantom developer docs, 2026). Testnet tokens have no value.
I sent tokens on an unsupported network
If someone sent tokens to your 0x address on an unsupported EVM network such as Arbitrum or Optimism, the tokens are usually not lost. EVM networks share the same address format, so the tokens sit at your address on that network. Phantom simply does not show them. To reach them:
- Install a well-known wallet that supports that network, only from its official site or app store.
- Import your Phantom recovery phrase into it, ideally on a device you trust. Never type your phrase into a website or give it to a "support agent".
- Check that the same 0x address appears, then move the tokens or bridge them to a network Phantom supports.
This does not work for non-EVM networks with a different address format. Sending to an address on the wrong network family, for example a Solana address on an EVM network, usually fails or loses funds. When in doubt, send a small test amount first.
Choosing a network inside Phantom
You can turn individual networks on or off in Phantom's settings (the Active Networks list). Solana is always on. Hiding a network only hides it in the app; your assets on that network stay where they are.
Network fees are paid in each network's own token, so you need a little SOL on Solana, ETH on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain, POL on Polygon, BNB on BNB Chain, HYPE on HyperEVM and USDC on Arc. Some swaps are gasless. Full details are on Phantom wallet fees.

A safety note on network changes
Every network change brings a wave of fake "migration" messages. Phantom says it will never message you first, ask for your recovery phrase, or offer to move your assets (Phantom help centre, 2026). Phantom has no phone support and no token. If you are unsure whether you have the real app, check it with our download checker.
Frequently asked questions
How many chains does Phantom support?
Nine, as of 25 October 2026: Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Bitcoin, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Arc and BNB Chain.
Does Phantom support Arbitrum?
No. Phantom's help centre lists Arbitrum as unsupported. Robinhood Chain uses Arbitrum technology but is a separate network that Phantom does support.
Does Phantom still support Sui and Monad?
No. Monad support ended on 26 August 2026 and Sui support on 24 September 2026. The funds remain on those blockchains and can be reached with another wallet using your recovery phrase.
Can I add a custom network to Phantom?
No. Phantom does not let you add custom networks or RPCs. Use a wallet that does, alongside Phantom, for other networks.
Does Phantom support BNB Chain (BSC)?
Yes, since 1 October 2026. Update the app to the latest version to see it.
Is my EVM address the same on every network in Phantom?
Yes. Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain and Arc all use the same 0x address in your Phantom wallet. Solana and Bitcoin use their own addresses.
